The "SwitchBox" application serves as a straightforward interface designed to facilitate interaction with up to three compact electronic devices known as Switch Boxes, which are developed and distributed by Pilot Portraits ([email protected]). These devices enable users to send textual commands via SMS to control two electrical switches, thereby managing connected electronic appliances by toggling their power states.

The primary function of the "SwitchBox" app is to streamline the process of generating and dispatching these command messages, alleviating the need for users to memorize complex SMS sequences. By providing a user-friendly interface, the app enhances usability and reduces potential errors associated with manual message entry.

It is important to note that this application is exclusively compatible with iPhone devices. Due to the control mechanism relying solely on standard SMS messaging rather than iMessage, the app does not support iPad platforms.

The application requires iOS 6.0 or later to operate effectively.
